Pietra sofa

From the Italian: Stone

A designer of Italian descent, whose great-grandparents migrated from Italy more than 100 years ago and settled in the Bento Gonçalves region, in the mountains surrounding the Rio das Antas. The river gave the family its original profession: rafting logs, carrying them in times of flood to various places in the state.

The river is memorable for the stories told by her father and is now the family's place of rest. The stones on its bed were polished by the movement of the water, the setting of this century-old story, which lives on today among pebbles and cold water, full of good energy.
