The Studio
For 20 years we have been based in Bento Gonçalves, in the Serra Gaúcha, one of the country's main furniture hubs and a place inspired by the natural landscapes of the vineyards. We specialize in creating high-end furniture for indoor and outdoor areas.
Since 2016 we have taken part in consecutive exhibitions at the international fairs Isaloni and Fuori Salone in Milan, and ICFF in New York. We have also been at international design weeks in São Paulo, Milan, Rome, Paris, Stockholm, London, Barcelona and Berlin. Along the way we have collected design awards in Brazil and abroad that consolidate our brand in the contemporary, avant-garde authorial design segment.
The Designer
Marta Manente is of Italian descent; her great-grandparents migrated to Brazil, to the Serra Gaúcha region. Honoring a century-old family history of working with logs of wood, it was with her father, a cabinetmaker, that she learned to love the art of working with furniture.
She has more than 20 years of experience developing contemporary projects for the furniture sector.
She is the creative director and founder of Studio Marta Manente Design, which serves major players in Brazil and abroad that produce an avant-garde furniture repertoire.
An interior decorator with a degree in Furniture Production Technology and a postgraduate degree in Product Design, with an emphasis on furniture. She has taught on international scenarios for the Specialization in Design course between the Universities of Pordenone, in Italy, and Caxias do Sul, RS - Brazil.
