Ceppo bench

From the Italian: Wooden bench
Through the Ceppo Collection, designer Marta Manente pays tribute to her Italian ancestry. The name “Ceppo” relates to the values inherited from a typically Italian family, which passes down from generation to generation the love for the art of working with furniture. When her great-grandparents arrived from Italy they settled in the Serra Gaúcha and worked as rafters in times of river floods, carrying logs of wood that were used at the time to build houses.
After more than 100 years, the wood stump appears in a poetic form of gratitude in the designer's project.
“Toco” (stump) recalls “tocar” (to touch)… to touch a feeling, to touch something tenderly with the hands, to play a piece of music…
From the stump that touches the heart, through living history, through the author's line.

The seat has an ergonomic shape for comfortable sitting, and the base is made with fluted grooves, which further enhances the product's details.
There is a variety of colors and finishes, from metallic to matte, to customize the piece according to the design of the space where it will be used.
